You know the kind that makes you feel all warm and fuzzy inside
Once a season, many people decide to deep-clean their rooms and closets. For me, that day fell on a random Tuesday.
I had been putting off the deep-cleaning session for quite some time. I felt overwhelmed by the thought of going through the piles of items and clothes in my closet, so I kept delaying it day after day. But a few weeks ago, I finally decided to dive in and start decluttering.
As I sorted through everything, I came across many items and articles of clothing that were just sitting unused. I decided to donate them to someone in need. Once my cleaning session was over, I gathered all the items and packed them into a large box.
I called my neighbor to tell her about my plan, and luckily, she knew of a woman living in difficult conditions and provided me with her contact information. I brought the box to this woman, letting her know it was a small gesture of kindness and wishing her all the best. Then, I returned home, not giving it much more thought.
Yesterday afternoon, I was at the park trying to get my daily steps in. With my earbuds in, I alternated between walking and jogging, soaking in the sun. At one point, I felt a gentle tap on my shoulder, so I turned around to see who it was.
